1. Participant Declaration

I declare that the information provided during registration is true and complete. I confirm that I have completed 18 years of age as on 1st of August 2026 or above and am legally competent to execute this Waiver. I have read, understood and voluntarily agree to all terms before participating in Acer Run 2026.

2. Medical Fitness

I confirm that I am medically fit to participate and have no known condition that would make participation unsafe. I accept responsibility for obtaining medical advice where appropriate and will not participate if unwell or advised against physical activity.

3. Assumption of Risk

I understand that road running involves inherent risks including falls, collisions, weather conditions, traffic diversions, uneven surfaces, dehydration, heat, rain, illness, equipment failure and other foreseeable or unforeseeable hazards. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with my participation.

4. Participant Responsibilities

I will follow all instructions issued by race officials, volunteers, police and medical personnel, remain on the designated course, wear my assigned bib, act responsibly, respect other participants and public property, and comply with all applicable laws and event rules. Bibs are non-transferable.

5. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and forever discharge GameChangerZ SEL LLP, Acer India Pvt. Ltd., the venue owner and manager, event management agencies, contractors, vendors, registration and timing partners, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, medical providers, security agencies, BBMP, Bengaluru Traffic Police, Karnataka Police, other government authorities involved with the Event, and their respective directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents, successors and assigns (‘Released Parties’) from any claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages or expenses arising from or connected with my participation, except where caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence to the extent such exclusion is not permitted by law.

6. Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties against claims, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from my negligent, unlawful or wilful acts, breach of this Waiver or failure to comply with Event instructions.

7. Emergency Medical Consent

I authorise the Event medical team to arrange emergency assessment, first aid, evacuation or treatment considered reasonably necessary. I understand that medical assistance may not be immediately available and that I remain responsible for my own medical and insurance expenses.

8. Media & Intellectual Property

I grant GameChangerZ SEL LLP and Acer India Pvt. Ltd. the irrevocable, royalty-free right to capture and use my name, image, voice, likeness, photographs, video, drone footage and recordings from the Event for lawful promotional, editorial and archival purposes without further approval or compensation.

9. Privacy & Data Processing

I consent to the collection and processing of my personal information for registration, event administration, safety, timing, results, participant communication, event videography and photography, marketing and promotional material in all formats and legal compliance in accordance with the Event Privacy Policy and applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

10. Force Majeure

I acknowledge that the Event may be modified, delayed, postponed or cancelled due to severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, government directions, security concerns or other circumstances beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control, without liability except as provided in the applicable Refund Policy.

11. Miscellaneous

I am responsible for my personal belongings. If any provision of this Waiver is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect. This Waiver is governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Electronic acceptance shall have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.

12. Acceptance
